Description
A luscious, creamy tiramisu layered with sweet cherries and a hint of almond-kissed amaretto.
Ingredients

- 8 oz Mascarpone cheese
- 24 Ladyfinger biscuits
- 1/2 cup Amaretto liqueur
- 1 cup Sweet cherries (fresh or jarred)
- 1 cup Heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup Cherry preserves
- 1 cup Strong brewed coffee (cooled)
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- Cocoa powder or powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whip heavy cream to soft peaks; set aside.
- Beat mascarpone, powdered sugar, vanilla, and a splash of amaretto until smooth; gently fold in whipped cream.
- Mix cooled coffee with remaining amaretto. Quickly dip ladyfingers into the mixture and layer in a 9×9 dish.
- Spread half the mascarpone cream over the layer, then spoon cherry preserves and scatter whole cherries evenly.
- Repeat with another dipped ladyfinger layer and remaining cream.
- Chill at least 4 hours until set and flavors meld.
- Dust with cocoa powder or powdered sugar and top generously with glossy whole cherries before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh cherries when in season.
- Adjust the amount of amaretto to taste.
- Can be made a day in advance for enhanced flavor.
