Description

Pillowy, juicy meatballs simmered in rich tomato sauce—so soft they melt in your mouth.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef (or beef/pork blend)
  • 1 cup Whole-milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gently mix ground meat, ricotta, egg, panko, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Roll into soft meatballs without overpacking.
  3. Heat olive oil in a wide pan and lightly brown meatballs on all sides.
  4. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  5. Cover and simmer gently for 20–25 minutes until tender and cooked through.
  6. Spoon sauce over meatballs while simmering to keep them moist.
  7. Finish with extra Parmesan and parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
  • Serve with pasta or crusty bread for a complete meal.
