Ingredients
- Jalapeños (6 large, halved and seeded)
- Smoked brisket (1 cup, chopped)
- Cream cheese (4 oz, softened)
- Bacon (12 slices)
- Shredded cheddar cheese (½ cup)
- BBQ sauce (½ cup)
- Garlic powder (½ tsp)
- Black pepper (¼ tsp)
- Chopped chives (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prep jalapeños: Slice jalapeños lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
- Make filling: Mix cream cheese, cheddar, brisket, garlic powder, and pepper until creamy.
- Stuff peppers: Fill each jalapeño half generously with the brisket mixture.
- Wrap with bacon: Wrap one slice of bacon around each stuffed jalapeño, securing with toothpicks if needed.
- Bake: Place on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake 30–35 minutes until bacon is crispy.
- Glaze: Brush BBQ sauce over each one and bake an additional 5–10 minutes until caramelized.
- Serve: Sprinkle with chives and enjoy warm with extra BBQ sauce for dipping.
