Instructions
- Activate yeast with warm milk and sugar until foamy.
- Mix flour, salt, eggs, yeast mixture, and butter to form a soft dough; knead until smooth.
- Let dough rise until doubled in size.
- Mix softened butter with garlic, chopped herbs, parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Roll dough into a rectangle and spread garlic herb butter evenly.
- Roll up tightly, twist or coil, and place into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake until deeply golden and fragrant; cool slightly before slicing.
Notes
- For extra meltiness, add shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese.
- Ensure the milk is warm but not hot to avoid killing the yeast.
- Let the bread cool slightly before slicing for easier handling.
