Ingredients

  • Beef flank or sirloin
  • Cornstarch
  • Soy sauce
  • Sweet chilli sauce
  • Red bell pepper
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Fresh red chilli
  • Rice vinegar
  • Brown sugar
  • Ginger
  • Neutral oil

Instructions

  1. Slice beef thinly against the grain; toss with cornstarch until fully coated.
  2. Fry beef in hot oil until deeply golden and crisp; remove and drain.
  3. Stir-fry onion, bell pepper, garlic, ginger, and chilli until fragrant.
  4. Add soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, vinegar, and brown sugar; simmer briefly.
  5. Return beef to the pan and toss to coat until sticky and glossy.
  6. Serve immediately for maximum crunch.
