Description
Juicy, boldly spiced beef kefta finished with cool tzatziki and nutty tahini for the perfect hot–cold contrast.
Ingredients

- 1 lb Ground beef
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup Fresh mint, chopped
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 Onion, finely grated
- 1 tsp Chili flakes or fresh chili
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 Cucumber, grated
- 2 tbsp Dill, chopped
- 1/4 cup Tahini paste
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2–4 tbsp Water
- Pita bread, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with grated onion, garlic, parsley, mint, cumin, paprika, chili, salt, and pepper.
- Shape mixture into small oval patties or round kefta.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear kefta until deeply browned on both sides and cooked through; remove and rest.
- For tzatziki, mix yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- For tahini sauce, whisk tahini, lemon juice, water, and salt until smooth and creamy.
- Serve kefta warm, drizzled with tahini and tzatziki, finished with herbs and sumac or paprika.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili.
- Let the kefta rest for a few minutes before serving for better flavor.
- Serve with fresh herbs for added flavor.
