- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 cups Flour
- 2 tbsp Butter (melted)
- 1 Egg (for egg wash)
- Coarse pretzel salt
Instructions
- Prepare pretzel dough and let it rest until soft and pliable.
- Cut cheese into sticks and slice dough into strips.
- Wrap each hot dog with a cheese stick, then spiral dough tightly around it.
- Boil water with baking soda; dip each wrapped dog for 20–30 seconds.
- Arrange on a lined baking sheet, brush with egg wash, sprinkle with pretzel salt.
- Bake until deep golden brown and glossy.
- Brush lightly with melted butter and serve warm.
