Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Bake red velvet cupcakes at 350°F (175°C) for 18–20 minutes and let cool fully.
  2. Pipe tall swirls of buttercream onto each cupcake.
  3. Melt red candy melts and dip small cone-shaped molds or chocolate cones to create Santa hats; coat in white nonpareils.
  4. Attach a mini marshmallow to the top using a dab of melted candy.
  5. Place each finished Santa hat or bauble gently onto the buttercream swirl.
  6. Add extra white sprinkles around the base for a snowy effect.
  7. Chill briefly to set the decorations before serving.
