- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 Onion (finely diced)
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp Flour (for gravy thickening)
- 2 tbsp Butter or oil
- Fresh Parsley (for garnish)
- Optional: mustard, onion soup mix, paprika
Instructions
- Mix ground beef with diced onion, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper; form into meatballs.
- Sear meatballs in a skillet until browned on all sides; remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until golden.
- Stir in a spoonful of flour to form a roux, then whisk in beef broth and more Worcestershire.
- Simmer gravy until slightly thickened, then add meatballs back to the pan.
- Cover and cook 10–15 minutes until meatballs are cooked through and the gravy is rich.
- Garnish with parsley and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider using onion soup mix or mustard in the meatball mixture.
- Adjust the thickness of the gravy by adding more or less flour.
- Serve with your choice of sides for a complete meal.
