Description

A restaurant-inspired chicken breast stuffed with creamy cheese and spinach, baked until juicy and irresistibly rich.


Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups Fresh spinach
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Optional: cooked beef bacon bits (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Butterfly chicken breasts to create pockets; season inside and out with salt and pepper.
  3. Sauté spinach and garlic in olive oil or butter briefly until wilted; cool slightly.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, sautéed spinach, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  5. Stuff chicken generously with the cheese mixture and secure if needed.
  6. Sear chicken in a hot skillet until golden on both sides.
  7. Transfer to the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes until cooked through and juicy.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider topping with cooked beef bacon bits before serving.
  • Ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing to retain juices.
