- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
- ½ cup honey
- 8 sheets phyllo dough
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F and butter a 9-inch springform pan.
- Layer 4 sheets of buttered phyllo at the bottom and sides of the pan.
- Mix cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and cream until smooth.
- Pour half the cheesecake mixture into the crust, add a layer of chopped pistachios and a drizzle of honey.
- Add remaining filling, top with 4 more buttered phyllo sheets, and sprinkle pistachios on top.
- Bake for 55–60 minutes until golden and slightly set in the center.
- Cool slightly, drizzle with honey, and chill before slicing for perfect layers.
Notes
- Ensure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
- Chill the cheesecake for a few hours for better slicing.
- Drizzle additional honey on top before serving for extra sweetness.
