Ingredients
- Frozen or fresh-cut fries
- Thin-sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)
- Shredded cheddar or cheese sauce
- Bell peppers & onions
- Olive oil or butter
- Garlic powder
- Salt & pepper
- Parsley (for garnish)
- Optional: provolone for extra melt
Instructions
- Bake or air-fry fries until crisp and golden; keep warm.
- Sauté sliced peppers and onions in oil until softened and slightly charred.
- Add thin-sliced steak to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder; cook until browned.
- Layer hot fries in a serving dish and pile the steak-and-veggie mixture over the top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar or pour warm cheese sauce generously over everything.
- Return to the oven for 3–5 minutes if you want extra melt.
- Top with diced onions and parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add jalapeños to the sautéed vegetables.
- Use a mix of cheeses for a more complex flavor.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
