- ¾ cup Granulated sugar
- ¾ cup Brown sugar
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- ½ tsp Salt
- 2 Eggs
- ½ cup Vegetable oil or melted butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Chocolate chips
- Crushed peppermint candies (for topping)
- Chocolate glaze or syrup (optional drizzle)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a muffin tin.
- Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix sugars, eggs, milk, oil, vanilla, and peppermint extract.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet just until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips gently.
- Divide batter into muffin cups and bake 18–22 minutes until set.
- Cool slightly, drizzle with chocolate glaze, and sprinkle crushed peppermint on top.
