- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups Marinara sauce
- 2 Eggs
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- Extra Parmesan (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and lightly oil a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, eggs, milk, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into evenly sized meatballs.
- Spread marinara sauce in the baking dish and nestle the meatballs into the sauce.
- Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Bake uncovered until meatballs are browned and cooked through, about 30–35 minutes.
- Sprinkle with extra Parmesan and herbs before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
- These meatballs can be served over pasta or in a sub sandwich.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
