- 8 oz Pasta (shells or rigatoni)
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 cup Heavy cream or milk
- 2 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges (optional for serving)
Instructions
- Melt butter with olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (do not brown).
- Pour in broth and cream; bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add uncooked pasta, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
- Simmer, stirring often, until pasta is tender and liquid thickens.
- Stir in grated Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
- Finish with parsley, extra pepper, and optional lemon zest.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes.
- Can substitute heavy cream with milk for a lighter version.
- Garnish with additional Parmesan if desired.
