Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Pasta (shells or rigatoni)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 cup Heavy cream or milk
  • 2 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges (optional for serving)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter with olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (do not brown).
  3. Pour in broth and cream; bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add uncooked pasta, salt, pepper, and seasoning.
  5. Simmer, stirring often, until pasta is tender and liquid thickens.
  6. Stir in grated Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
  7. Finish with parsley, extra pepper, and optional lemon zest.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes.
  • Can substitute heavy cream with milk for a lighter version.
  • Garnish with additional Parmesan if desired.
