Description

Tender, flavorful meatballs simmered in rich tomato sauce — the kind Nonna would proudly serve on a cozy Sunday evening.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ lb ground pork
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Olive oil for browning

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix beef, pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, egg, parsley, and seasonings until combined.
  2. Form mixture into meatballs about 1½ inches in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown meatballs on all sides for 5–6 minutes.
  4. Transfer to a baking dish and pour marinara sauce over them.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Spoon extra sauce over top and garnish with parsley and Parmesan.
  7. Serve with spaghetti or crusty bread for a true Italian feast.
