Description

Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • Fresh jalapeño slices (to taste)
  • 4 Brioche sandwich buns
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • Hot sauce (optional, to taste)
  • 4 slices Pepper jack or provolone cheese
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk, salt, pepper, and a dash of hot sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Mix flour with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dredge chicken in seasoned flour, dip back into buttermilk, then dredge again for extra crunch.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F and fry chicken for 6–8 minutes until deep golden and crispy. Drain on a rack.
  4. Toast brioche buns lightly in a pan until golden.
  5. Place cheese on hot chicken so it melts slightly.
  6. Layer chicken on the bottom bun, top with fresh jalapeño slices, and generously drizzle with warm honey.
  7. Close sandwich and serve immediately while hot and crispy.
