Description

Ingredients

  • Italian sausage links (sliced)
  • Bell peppers (red, yellow, orange)
  • Shredded mozzarella
  • Marinara or tomato sauce
  • Onion (optional)
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Slice sausage and sear in a skillet until browned.
  2. Sauté bell peppers (and onion if using) with garlic until softened.
  3. Add sausage, veggies, tomato sauce, and Italian seasoning to a baking dish.
  4. Top generously with mozzarella.
  5. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Sprinkle chopped basil or parsley on top.
