Ingredients

- 12 Mozzarella string cheese
- 2 Eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 cup Seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional garnish)
- Marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Unwrap string cheese and freeze for at least 30 minutes so they don’t melt too fast while frying.
- Set up dredging: one bowl flour, one bowl beaten eggs, one bowl seasoned breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each frozen cheese stick in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
- Repeat egg + breadcrumb step again for a thicker, crispier crust.
- Heat oil to 350°F in a deep skillet or pot.
- Fry cheese sticks in small batches 1–2 minutes until golden—remove before cheese leaks out.
- Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with parsley, and serve hot with marinara.

- Ensure cheese sticks are frozen for at least 30 minutes to prevent melting during frying.
- Adjust seasoning in breadcrumbs according to taste.
