Ingredients
- Cooked chicken breast (sliced)
- Basil pesto
- Fresh mozzarella slices
- Ciabatta rolls
- Tomato slices
- Olive oil or butter
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Slice ciabatta rolls in half and lightly brush the outsides with olive oil or butter.
- Spread a generous layer of basil pesto on the inside of each roll.
- Layer sliced chicken, fresh mozzarella, and tomato slices evenly.
- Season lightly with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder.
- Close sandwiches and place in a heated skillet or panini press over medium heat.
- Cook 3–4 minutes per side until bread is golden and crisp and cheese is melted.
- Remove, rest 1–2 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding spinach or arugula to the sandwich.
- Adjust cooking time based on the heat of your skillet or panini press.
