A cinnamon-swirled loaf packed with tender apples and finished with a sweet vanilla glaze.

- 2 cups diced fresh apples
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
- Toss diced apples with brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon; set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining cinnamon. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk into the batter.
- Layer half the batter into the pan, add half the apples, repeat layers, and lightly swirl with a knife.
- Bake 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes, then remove from pan.
- Whisk powdered sugar and milk into a glaze and drizzle generously over the warm loaf.

- Adjust the amount of cinnamon according to taste preference.
- Let the loaf cool completely before slicing for cleaner cuts.
