- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 2 tsp Gingerbread spice (ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg)
- 1 1/2 cups Flour
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 cups Powdered sugar (for frosting)
- Mini gingerbread man cookies (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a cupcake tray with festive liners.
- Cream butter and brown sugar, then beat in eggs, molasses, and vanilla.
- Whisk dry ingredients separately; add to batter alternately with milk until smooth.
- Fill liners ¾ full and bake 18–20 minutes; cool completely.
- Make frosting by whipping butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of gingerbread spice.
- Pipe tall swirls of frosting onto each cooled cupcake.
- Finish with a mini gingerbread man cookie gently pressed on top.
Notes
- Ensure cupcakes are completely cool before frosting to prevent melting.

- For a stronger spice flavor, increase the amount of gingerbread spice.
