Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices thick bread
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded or sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter (butter + minced garlic + parsley)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (optional for extra crisp)
  • Extra parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread the garlic butter generously on the outside of both bread slices.
  3. Fill the inside with a thick layer of mozzarella (add parmesan for extra melt).
  4. Heat a skillet on medium; add a small dab of butter or oil.
  5. Cook the sandwich slowly until the bottom is deeply golden and crisp.
  6. Flip and toast the other side until cheese is fully melted and oozy.
  7. Slice and serve hot with extra parsley on top.

Notes

  • For a crispier sandwich, use olive oil in addition to butter.
