- 2 slices thick bread
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded or sliced)
- 2 tablespoons garlic butter (butter + minced garlic + parsley)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Olive oil (optional for extra crisp)
- Extra parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Mix softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the garlic butter generously on the outside of both bread slices.
- Fill the inside with a thick layer of mozzarella (add parmesan for extra melt).
- Heat a skillet on medium; add a small dab of butter or oil.
- Cook the sandwich slowly until the bottom is deeply golden and crisp.
- Flip and toast the other side until cheese is fully melted and oozy.
- Slice and serve hot with extra parsley on top.
Notes
- For a crispier sandwich, use olive oil in addition to butter.
- Feel free to add other cheeses for a different flavor.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
