Description

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp red food coloring
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk melted butter and sugar until glossy. Add eggs, vanilla, and red food coloring.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold gently until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake 30–35 minutes until center is set but still fudgy. Cool completely.
  6. Beat cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  7. Spread thick frosting over cooled brownies and slice into squares.
