Ingredients

- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 packet Taco seasoning
- 2 cups Shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 4 cups Fritos corn chips
- 1 cup Salsa
- 1 cup Sour cream (plus extra for topping)
- 1 cup Diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup Green onions
- Optional: 4 oz cream cheese for extra creaminess
- Optional toppings: guacamole, jalapeños
Instructions
- Brown ground beef, drain, and stir in taco seasoning with a splash of water.
- Combine salsa with sour cream (and optional cream cheese) for a creamy taco layer.
- In a dish, add crushed Fritos, then taco beef, followed by the creamy salsa mix, and top with cheese.
- Add another layer of Fritos and cheese on top.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and melted.
- Add sour cream, salsa, guacamole, or jalapeño slices on top.
- Serve warm for maximum crunch.
