Juicy, spice-kissed beef kofta finished with a cool, tangy yogurt sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ¼ cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp ground coriander
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, garlic, onion, parsley, paprika, cayenne, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Shape into small oval meatballs or short logs and place on the baking sheet.
- Brush lightly with olive oil and bake for 18–20 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, mix Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt for the creamy drizzle.
- Serve hot kefta topped with yogurt sauce and extra chopped parsley.
Notes
- Adjust the cayenne pepper to taste for desired spiciness.
- Serve with pita bread or over rice for a complete meal.
