Tender, fall-apart chicken thighs slow-cooked in a sticky-sweet honey garlic sauce—an effortless weeknight winner.


Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker in a single layer.
  2. In a bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, vinegar, and sesame oil.
  3. Pour sauce evenly over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours until tender.
  5. Optional: remove chicken and simmer sauce with cornstarch to thicken.
  6. Return chicken to sauce and coat well.
  7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds; serve over rice.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, use cornstarch as an optional thickening agent.
  • Serve with rice for a complete meal.
