- Chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless)
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- Green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker in a single layer.
- In a bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Pour sauce evenly over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours until tender.
- Optional: remove chicken and simmer sauce with cornstarch to thicken.
- Return chicken to sauce and coat well.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds; serve over rice.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, use cornstarch as an optional thickening agent.
- Serve with rice for a complete meal.
- Can use either bone-in or boneless chicken thighs.
