Description

A golden, crusty bread bowl overflowing with creamy shrimp-packed seafood goodness.

Ingredients

  • Large round bread bowl
  • Shrimp (peeled + deveined)
  • Cream cheese
  • Shredded mozzarella
  • Garlic
  • Butter
  • Heavy cream
  • Salt + pepper
  • Parsley
  • Optional: crab meat or scallops

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the top off the bread bowl and hollow it carefully.
  2. Sauté shrimp in butter and garlic until just pink; chop half of them, leaving the rest whole for topping.
  3. Melt cream cheese with heavy cream until smooth; stir in mozzarella and season well.
  4. Fold in chopped shrimp and optional crab/scallops to create a thick, creamy filling.
  5. Spoon filling into the bread bowl and place whole cooked shrimp on top.
  6. Bake 20–25 minutes until the bread edges are crisp and the top is lightly golden.
  7. Finish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding more garlic.
  • Ensure the bread bowl is sturdy enough to hold the filling.
  • Can substitute shrimp with other seafood as desired.
