- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 cup Whole-milk ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C) and lightly oil a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, ricotta, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Gently form mixture into meatballs without overworking.
- Bake meatballs until lightly browned and cooked through.
- Warm marinara sauce in a skillet or saucepan.
- Add baked meatballs to the sauce and simmer briefly.
- Serve hot with extra Parmesan and herbs on top.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
- Ensure not to overwork the meatball mixture for a tender texture.
- Serve with pasta or crusty bread for a complete meal.
