Description

A bold, creamy Cajun-style pasta loaded with tender chicken, peppers, and a subtle spicy kick.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Penne pasta
  • 1 lb Boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 Red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 Green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta in salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season sliced chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat; cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté garlic and sliced bell peppers until tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, simmer gently, and stir in Parmesan until the sauce thickens.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and toss in cooked pasta, coating evenly in the creamy sauce.
  7. Garnish with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
  • For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with mushrooms or tofu.
