Instructions
- Cook fettuccine in salted water until al dente; reserve ½ cup pasta water.
- Season salmon with salt and pepper; sear in olive oil until just cooked, then flake.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan until smooth; loosen with pasta water if needed.
- Add pasta and salmon, gently tossing to coat without breaking the fish.
- Finish with parsley, black pepper, and a squeeze of lemon if desired.
