Ingredients
- Shredded cooked chicken
- Egg noodles

Instructions
- Sauté onion, carrots, celery, and garlic in butter until softened and fragrant.
- Stir in flour to make a light roux, cooking 1–2 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth, add seasonings, and bring to a simmer.
- Add shredded chicken and uncooked egg noodles; cook until noodles are tender.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream for a velvety texture.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Finish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- This soup can be made ahead of time and reheated.
- For a thicker soup, add more flour to the roux.
