Description
Warm tortillas filled with spicy chipotle-seared shrimp, crisp greens, and a cool creamy yogurt sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb Shrimp (peeled & deveined)
- 1/2 cup Chipotle yogurt sauce
- 4 Flour tortillas
- 2 cups Lettuce or mixed greens
- 1 Red onion (thinly sliced)
- 1/4 cup Cilantro
- 2 Lime wedges
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Chipotle powder or canned chipotle
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season shrimp with chipotle, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
- Sear in a hot skillet until charred and cooked through, about 2–3 minutes per side.
- Make the chipotle yogurt sauce by combining plain yogurt, lime juice, minced chipotle or chipotle powder, salt, and pepper.
- Warm tortillas until soft and pliable.
- Layer lettuce, sliced red onion, and cilantro inside each tortilla.
- Add seared shrimp and drizzle generously with chipotle yogurt sauce.
- Serve with extra lime wedges and more sauce on the side.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less chipotle.
- For a lighter option, use whole wheat tortillas.
- Can substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu for different protein options.
