- 6 oz Pepperoni slices
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Marinara sauce
- 1 cup Provolone or cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 Egg (for egg wash)
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh basil or parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce, leaving edges clear.
- Layer pepperoni and cheeses evenly over the dough.
- Roll tightly into a log and seal seams and ends.
- Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with seasoning and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake until golden brown and cheese is bubbling; rest, slice, and serve with marinara sauce.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like basil or parsley.
- Make sure to seal the seams well to prevent filling from leaking out.
- Let the stromboli rest for a few minutes before slicing for easier serving.
