Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • Cheddar cheese (sliced or shredded)
  • Biscuit dough (refrigerated or homemade)
  • Onion (optional, caramelized or finely diced)
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper
  • Butter (for brushing)
  • Pickles (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a deep baking dish.
  2. Cook ground beef with onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain.
  3. Press a layer of biscuit dough into the bottom of the dish.
  4. Layer beef mixture, cheddar cheese, and another biscuit dough sheet. Repeat until dish is filled.
  5. Top with more cheese and brush biscuit dough edges with melted butter.
  6. Bake 25–30 minutes until biscuits are golden and cheese is bubbly.
