Ingredients
- Ground beef
- Cheddar cheese (sliced or shredded)
- Biscuit dough (refrigerated or homemade)
- Onion (optional, caramelized or finely diced)
- Garlic powder
- Salt & pepper
- Butter (for brushing)
- Pickles (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a deep baking dish.
- Cook ground beef with onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain.
- Press a layer of biscuit dough into the bottom of the dish.
- Layer beef mixture, cheddar cheese, and another biscuit dough sheet. Repeat until dish is filled.
- Top with more cheese and brush biscuit dough edges with melted butter.
- Bake 25–30 minutes until biscuits are golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with sliced pickles and herbs before serving hot.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider caramelizing the onions before adding them to the beef mixture.
