Ingredients
- Ground beef (1 lb, seasoned)
- Mozzarella cheese (2 cups, shredded)
- Pizza dough rounds (8 small)
- Marinara sauce (1 cup)
- Olive oil (1 tbsp)
- Garlic powder (½ tsp)
- Dried oregano (1 tsp)
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Brown seasoned ground beef in olive oil until cooked; drain excess fat.
- Bake the pizza dough rounds halfway (about 8 minutes) until lightly puffed.
- Layer: pizza base → marinara → beef → mozzarella → second pizza base.
- Add another layer of sauce, beef, and cheese for double-stack effect.
- Sprinkle oregano on top and bake until cheese is golden and bubbly (10–12 min).
- Let rest 2 minutes before slicing to keep the cheesy layers intact.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce.
- These burgers can be customized with additional toppings like pepperoni or bell peppers.
