Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook macaroni until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic in butter; add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Sprinkle flour over beef mixture, stir, then slowly pour in milk to form a creamy sauce.
- Add 1½ cups cheddar and stir until melted and smooth.
- Combine macaroni with the beef mixture, season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour into a greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden; garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- This dish can be frozen before baking for up to 2 months.
