Ingredients
- Ground beef

Instructions
- Slowly caramelize sliced onions in butter until deep golden; add garlic and thyme.
- Brown ground beef separately, season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire, then combine with onions.
- Sprinkle in a spoonful of flour and stir; add beef broth and simmer until thick and glossy.
- Line a baking dish with puff pastry, fill with the beef–onion mixture.
- Top with another sheet of pastry, seal edges, and score a lattice or crosshatch pattern.
- Brush with egg wash and bake at 400°F for 25–30 minutes until puffed and deeply golden.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing for clean layers.
