Ingredients
- French bread or ciabatta rolls
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Cherry tomatoes, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Butter
- Garlic, minced
- Salt & black pepper
- Olive oil (for drizzle)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with foil.
- Slice bread in halves and spread a garlic-butter mixture evenly over each piece.
- Toast in oven for 5 minutes until lightly crisp.
- Top with mozzarella, tomato slices, salt, and pepper.
- Bake again for 10 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
- Drizzle lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with fresh basil.
- Serve immediately while hot and bubbly.
