Description

Ingredients

  • Fudgy brownie batter
  • Chocolate buttercream
  • Gold sprinkles/pearls
  • Small edible gold stars (tree topper)
  • Butter
  • Cocoa powder
  • Sugar
  • Eggs
  • Flour
  • Vanilla extract
  • Heavy cream (for smoother piping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare brownie batter and bake in a square pan until set and fudgy; cool completely and cut into neat squares.
  2. Make chocolate buttercream by whipping butter, cocoa, powdered sugar, vanilla, and a splash of cream until silky.
  3. Transfer frosting to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
  4. Pipe a tall spiral swirl on each brownie square, starting wide at the base and tapering to a peak to form the tree shape.
  5. Add gold sprinkles “ornaments” all around the frosting.
  6. Place a small edible gold star on top of each tree.
  7. Chill 10 minutes to firm the frosting before serving.
