Instructions
- Prepare brownie batter and bake in a square pan until set and fudgy; cool completely and cut into neat squares.
- Make chocolate buttercream by whipping butter, cocoa, powdered sugar, vanilla, and a splash of cream until silky.
- Transfer frosting to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip.
- Pipe a tall spiral swirl on each brownie square, starting wide at the base and tapering to a peak to form the tree shape.
- Add gold sprinkles “ornaments” all around the frosting.
- Place a small edible gold star on top of each tree.
- Chill 10 minutes to firm the frosting before serving.

- Ensure brownies are completely cooled before frosting to prevent melting.
- Use heavy cream to achieve a smoother frosting consistency.
