Description

A delicious baked brie wrapped in golden puff pastry, filled with tart cranberries and crunchy pecans, perfect for sharing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 whole wheel of brie
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup pecans (or walnuts)
  • 12 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 egg + splash of water (for egg wash)
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep filling: Mix cranberries, chopped pecans, and 1–2 tbsp honey until glossy.
  2. Wrap the brie: Place the brie in the center of the puff pastry, top with the cranberry–pecan mixture, then fold pastry edges over to fully enclose.
  3. Seal & brush: Flip seam-side down, brush with egg wash for shine.
  4. Top décor: Add a few whole pecans and cranberries on top, pressing gently into the pastry.
  5. Bake: Place on parchment-lined sheet and bake at 400°F / 200°C for 20–25 minutes, until deep golden and puffed.
  6. Rest: Allow 5 minutes for the molten brie to settle slightly.
  7. Serve: Slice open to reveal the creamy brie flowing out with sweet-tart filling.

Notes

  • For a sweeter touch, drizzle additional honey on top before serving.
  • Can be served with crackers or fresh bread.
