- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- Fresh rosemary (optional garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until creamy.
- Gently stir in most of the cranberries, reserving a few for topping.
- Spread mixture evenly into a shallow baking dish.
- Scatter the remaining cranberries on the surface.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes until bubbly, lightly golden around the edges, and melted throughout.
- Add a sprig of rosemary or extra cranberries for presentation.
- Enjoy hot with crackers, baguette slices, or pretzel chips.
Notes
- For a sweeter dip, adjust the amount of brown sugar to taste.
- Can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
