- 1 lb Ground pork
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 Egg
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp Allspice
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 2 tbsp Flour (for gravy)
- Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- Fresh Parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, pork, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, allspice, nutmeg, salt, and pepper into a soft mixture.
- Roll into small meatballs and brown them in butter until golden.
- Remove meatballs and make gravy: melt butter, whisk in flour, then slowly add beef broth and heavy cream.
- Season gravy with salt, pepper, and a splash of Worcestershire if desired.
- Return meatballs to the skillet and simmer until cooked through and sauce is creamy.
- Garnish with parsley.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or buttered noodles.
