Ingredients

  • Onion, finely diced
  • 1 Egg
  • Bread soaked in milk (or breadcrumbs)
  • Parsley
  • Mustard
  • Paprika
  • Salt & pepper
  • Oil or butter for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak bread in a little milk, then squeeze out excess and crumble into a bowl.
  2. Add ground meat, diced onion, egg, parsley, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix gently until combined—don’t overwork.
  4. Shape into oval patties about ¾–1 inch thick.
  5. Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry patties 5–6 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  7. Rest briefly, then serve with potatoes, mustard, or a simple salad.
