  • 12 tsp Chili paste or crushed red pepper
  • 1 tbsp Fish sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 Cucumber, sliced
  • 2 Green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Neutral cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over high heat; add garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned and slightly crispy.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, fish sauce (if using), brown sugar, and chili paste.
  4. Cook until glossy and caramelized.
  5. Remove from heat and fold in fresh Thai basil until just wilted.
  6. Spoon beef into wrappers or lettuce with cucumber and green onions.
  7. Roll tightly and serve immediately.
